Dar es Salaam, Feb. 16 -- ADDIS ABABA, Ethiopia – Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan participated in the Committee of African Heads of State and Government on Climate Change (CAHOSCC) alongside the 38th African Union (AU) Summit on Feb. 16, 2025.

President Samia also chaired a session of the AU Summit on behalf of AU Chairperson, Angolan President João Lourenço, at the Nelson Mandela Hall in the AU headquarters.

Additionally, Tanzania was elected as a member of the AU Assembly Bureau for 2025.
