Dar es Salaam, March 6 -- TANZANIA: MOTORISTS using petroleum products yesterday started feeling the sting at the pump after the Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority (EWURA) unveiled a significant price hike.
According to EWURAs March cap prices, the Free On Board (FOB) prices increased by 1.44 per cent for petrol and 5.87 per cent for kerosene, while diesel prices decreased by 1.02 per cent.
In the month under review, premiums at Dar es Salaam Port dropped by an average of 0.51 per cent for petrol and 1.91 per cent for kerosene, while diesel premiums surged by 24.42 per cent.
At Tanga Port, premiums rose by 2.60 per cent for both petrol and diesel, with no changes reported at Mtwara Port. According to EWURA, the retail pric...
