Dar es Salaam, Feb. 1 -- KILIMANJARO: THE Prevention and Combating of Corruption Bureau (PCCB) in Kilimanjaro Region has identified water users who have been accessing the service without water metres thus, leading to government revenue losses in Siha District.

Kilimanjaro Regional PCCB Head, Mr Musa Chaulo, disclosed this on Thursday while presenting the institutions performance report for the period between October and December 2024.

“The institution received reports of fraud and upon investigation, it was discovered that some users received water services without making payments due to the absence of water metres. Additionally, others had water metres but were not included in the billing system,” he said.
