DODOMA, Sept. 15 -- THE Prevention and Combating of Corruption Bureau (PCCB) in Dodoma has scrutinised public development projects worth 16bn/- and recovered 32.7m/- that had been fraudulently obtained by works committee members through forgery.

Presenting the bureaus quarterly performance report for April to June, PCCB Dodoma Regional Bureau Chief, Mr Christopher Myava said forged signatures were discovered in committee meeting minutes, which led to illegal payments to a supplier and a construction technician, violating the governments force account procurement procedures.
