DODOMA, Jan. 6 -- THE Standing Committees of Parliament are expected to officially convene from Tuesday, January 13, to Friday, January 23, 2026, at the Parliamentary Offices in Dodoma.

The sessions form part of the preparations for the Second Meeting of Parliament, which is scheduled to begin on January 27, 2026.

According to a statement released today by the Communication and Public Education Unit of the Parliamentary Office, Members of Parliament are required to arrive in Dodoma on Monday, January 12, 2026. This measure is intended to ensure that all necessary preparations are completed before the committee sessions commence.
