Dar es Salaam, April 27 -- DODOMA: The Immigration Department has a pprehended 7,069 foreign nationals from various countries during a special nationwide operation conducted over a fourmonth period, from January to April this year.
This was announced by the Departments Chief Spokesperson, SSI Paul Mselle, in a public statement released yesterday.
The operation targeted foreign nationals residing in the country without valid permits, or those engaging in employment or business activities in violation of their visa conditions.
