Dar es Salaam, Jan. 30 -- KIGOMA: OVER 5,000 refugees in Nyarugusu Camp, located in Kasulu District, Kigoma Region, have received essential supplies worth over 100m/- from Itel Tanzania in collaboration with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

The donations, which included 5,000 mosquito nets, fabrics such as kitenge and kanga, sanitary pads, and undergarments for children, women, and men, were handed over by Itel Tanzanias Marketing Manager, Sophia Mafiri, to the camps head, Mr Siasa Manjenje.

Ms Mafiri emphasised that the initiative is part of the companys commitment to giving back to the community.
