DAR ES SALAAM, Dec. 7 -- MINISTER for Communication and Information Technology, Angellah Kairuki, has commended Tanzanias telecommunications service providers for their continued cooperation with the government in ensuring wider, affordable and higher-quality communication services across the country.
Speaking on Friday during the signing of the tenthphase contracts for rural telecommunications expansion between the Universal Communications Service Access Fund (UCSAF) and various telecom operators, a programme worth 19.7bn/-, the Minister said service providers have played a key role in delivering essential social services.
