KILIMANJARO, Feb. 3 -- NEEMA Olomi has etched her name into Tanzanian golf history after becoming the first female golfer to win the National Open Main Event.
Olomi clinched the overall title at the 2026 TPC Open Golf Tournament, which ended at TPC Moshi Club in the Kilimanjaro Region over the weekend.
The prestigious event, organised by TPC Club in collaboration with the Tanzania Golf Union (TGU), marked the opening tournament of the 2026 TGU national calendar.
The three-day, 54-hole championship attracted the countrys top male and female golfers, delivering intense competition across all divisions.
