Dar es Salaam, Feb. 13 -- ZANZIBAR: PRESIDENT Samia Suluhu Hassan has made six appointments and assigned new responsibilities to several others.

 According to a statement issued by the Chief Secretary, Ambassador Dr Moses Kusiluka, through the Director of Presidential Communication, Ms Sharifa B. Nyanga, the appointments and assignments are as follows:

Dr Amina Suleiman Msengwa has been appointed as the Chief Government Statistician. Before her appointment, she was a senior lecturer at the University of Dar es Salaam. Dr Msengwa takes over from Dr Albina Chuwa whose term has ended.

Judge Dr Ntemi Nimilwa Kilekamajenga has been appointed as the chairperson of the Capital Markets Tribunal replacing Dr  Deo John Nangela, who has...
