Dar es Salaam, April 16 -- ZANZIBAR: THE ruling party CCM has declared a firm stance against corruption and manipulation during its internal nomination process ahead of the October 2025 General Election.
CCM Deputy Secretary-General (Zanzibar) Dr Mohamed Said Mohammed Dimwa made the announcement during a tour by the Special National Executive Committee (NEC) Secretariat in the South Unguja Region.
He addressed party members from branches, wards, constituencies and districts, urging adherence to party ethics and democratic principles.
Dr Dimwa vowed that CCM will take strict disciplinary measures against any member, leader, or official found engaging in bribery or other misconduct during the nomination process.
