DAR ES SALAAM, Sept. 1 -- THE presidential candidate from the National League for Democracy (NLD), Doyo Hassan Doyo, has declared that if elected President of Tanzania, he will implement a unique and unconventional approach in the fight against corruption. Doyo emphasized that the war on corruption will not be fought with words but through concrete and visible actions.
He stated that all individuals found guilty of engaging in corrupt practices will be subjected to corporal punishment, receiving 12 lashes on their way to prison and another 12 lashes upon release.
