ABUJA, June 6 -- NIGERIA-based Africa Medical Centre of Excellence (AMCE) has pledged to collaborate with Tanzania in exchanging medical expertise, providing training for professionals, and promoting research on cancer, heart diseases, and other critical areas of healthcare to improve the health services in Tanzania.

The Minister for Health, Jenista Mhagama made the statement in Abuja, Nigeria on Thursday when representing President Samia Suluhu Hassan at the launch of the first phase hospital.

Speaking during the event, Minister Mhagama said that AMCE is an ideal of hope and resilience for the healthcare sector across Africa, including Tanzania.
