KILIMANJARO, Jan. 4 -- THE National Housing Corporation (NHC) has spent a total of 2.45bn/- on serving communities through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) unit during the first four years of the sixth phase government under President Samia Suluhu Hassan.
This was revealed recently by the NHC Information and Public Relations Manager, Mr Muungano Saguya, during the handover ceremony of a house built by the corporation for a person with disability in Simanjiro District, Manyara Region.
Mr Saguya said the construction of the house was part of NHCs long-standing commitment to serving disadvantaged members of the community through its CSR initiatives in areas where the corporation operates.
