DAR ES SALAAM, Dec. 11 -- DITRAM Nchimbi's first half strike saw Kilimanjaro Stars pick their first victory in the ongoing CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup, following a 1-0 victory over Zanzibar Heroes on Tuesday.
It was a must win match for the Mainland side, while Zanzibar Heroes also needed maximum points in the match played at the KCCA grounds in Kampala, Uganda to put themselves on course to reach the last four.
Group leaders Kenya's Harambee Stars with six points have already booked their ticket into the semifinals of the tournament after registering their second victory in the group.
