DAR ES SALAAM, Nov. 7 -- YOUNG Africans striker, Clement Mzize, will be sidelined for between eight to 10 weeks after the club confirmed he will undergo surgery for a persistent knee injury.
The 20-year-old forward has been struggling with knee problems for some time.
Yangas Media and Communications Manager, Ali Kamwe, said the decision for the said surgery followed consultations between the clubs medical team, the technical bench and the player.
“The last time we updated the public on Clement Mzizes injury, he was still recovering. However, he continued to experience pain whenever he returned to training. After thorough discussion, it was agreed that surgery was necessary,” Kamwe said.
