Dar es Salaam, Feb. 28 -- ZANZIBAR: PRESIDENT Hussein Mwinyi has asked the public to prioritise peace, stability, unity and tolerance, urging every citizen to learn from nations that have experienced instability and conflict.

Speaking at a special prayer gathering at Chaani Tangini, Unguja North Region, held to pray for the nation and its leaders, Dr Mwinyi said peace is the cornerstone of national development and a better quality of life for citizens.

He said: “Those who seek progress and justice must prioritize the peace for our nation above all else. Let us unite in our efforts to preserve peace and stability.”
