Dar es Salaam, Feb. 20 -- ZANZIBAR: ZANZIBAR President Hussein Mwinyi has reiterated the governments commitment of supporting the Women Representatives Association (UWAWAZA) in empowering women politically, economically and socially.

President Mwinyi expressed the commitment during the meeting with members of the association who visited the State House to introduce themselves and congratulate him for being endorsed by Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) to stand as its presidential flag-bearer in the upcoming General Elections slated for October this year.
