DAR ES SALAAM, July 25 -- BREAKING the ice on swirling transfer rumours, Simba SC have confirmed that midfielder Elie Mpanzu is not leaving the club anytime soon.

Speaking to the press, Simbas Communication Manager, Ahmed Ally, made it clear that the Congolese-born star is staying with the team.

“There is no truth to the rumours. Mpanzu is happy, committed and very much part of our plans going forward,” stated Ahmed.

“He is a Simba player, and we have no plans to put him on the market. Mpanzu is not for sale; he will be part of the teams plan for next season,” he added.
