Dar es Salaam, Feb. 28 -- WINDHOEK, NAMIBIA: VICE-PRESIDENT Dr Philip Mpango and Chama Cha Mapinduzis (CCM) Secretary General, Dr Emmanuel Nchimbi yesterday arrived in Windhoek, Namibia to attend the state funeral of the Namibias founding father, Dr Sam Nujoma.

Dr Mpango is representing President Samia Suluhu Hassan to the funeral.

According to the statement issued by the Vice-President Office (VPO), the memorial service and the paying of last respects will take place at the Independence Stadium in Windhoek. Moreover, Dr Nchimbi is leading the partys delegation to the burial ceremony of the Namibias founding father, Dr Sam Nujoma which will be held tomorrow.
