Tanzania, May 9 -- MOZAMBIQUE President, Daniel Chapo, has stated that the main goal of his visit to Zanzibar is to establish strategies to strengthen cooperation between Mozambique and Zanzibar, particularly to harness existing opportunities through the blue economy policy, especially in the fisheries sector.

President Chapo made the remarks today, May 9, 2025, during his visit to the Deep Sea Fishing and Marine Authority located in Fumba, Zanzibar. He noted that the authority plays a crucial role in ensuring efficiency and development in the island's fisheries sector.
