MPANDA, June 18 -- MOTORCYCLE taxi riders, commonly known as bodaboda, in Mpanda Municipality have been urged to refrain from consuming alcohol while on duty, as it has been identified as a major cause of traffic law violations and avoidable road accidents.

The call was made by the Katavi Regional Traffic Police Commander, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Leopard Fungu, during a meeting with the bodaboda riders held at the main bus terminal at Mizengo Pinda, under the Mpanda District Council.
