DAR ES SALAAM, June 21 -- 77,147 patients have been attended to and received medical care at Muhimbili Orthopaedic Institute (MOI) from February to May 2025,

The report released today, June 21, 2025, said out of them, 73,887 were outpatients and 3,262 were inpatients.

The statement revealed to the media by the institutions official,  Patrick  Mvungi, said that in the period, 2,300 patients attended special operations, while 984 patients received emergency operations, and 2,046 had normal operations.

“MOI continues to carry out its usual duties of giving better treatment and services to all Tanzanian citizens and those from neighbouring countries,” he said.
