DAR ES SALAAM, Sept. 2 -- THE Tanzania Communications Regulatory Authority (TCRA) has announced that mobile phone service providers in the country have maintained strong quality levels while expanding coverage and penetration.
TCRA Director General, Dr Jabiri Bakari, revealed that the June 2025 communications sector status report shows all five Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) performing within the Quality of Service (QoS) parameters, with only minor variations.
Speaking in Dar es Salaam yesterday, Dr Jabiri said TCRA monitored MNO services across 14 regions between April and June 2025, assessing compliance in 17 key areas. The average performance stood at 92.8 per cent.
