DAR ES SALAAM, Feb. 17 -- MUHIMBILI National Hospital (MNH) has received medical equipment worth approximately 183m/- from Operation Smile, including surgical microscopes and training microscopes (Skill Lab).

The equipment is expected to increase the hospitals capacity to provide more modern services to patients requiring reconstructive surgery.

In another step, Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS) and Operation Smile have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening cooperation in the training and provision of specialist services, especially in the area of reconstructive surgery (Microsurgery).
