Dar es Salaam, Feb. 13 -- DODOMA: THE government has allocated a total of 6bn/- to improve road infrastructure in Mkuranga District, Coast Region.

Minister for Works, Mr Abdallah Ulega, who is also Member of Parliament for Mkuranga, revealed this during a public meeting at Shungubweni Village.

He was on a two-day tour of the Shungubweni Ward. Mr Ulega said that construction work is already underway on several roads, including the MwanambayaKongowe road, Mwanambaya-Mipeko road and the Vikindu Police-Mwembemtengu Road.

Other ongoing projects include the MbandeTambani-Kitonga road, Kiparanganda-Bupu road and Mwarusembe-Njia Nne road.
