Joined by Miss World Africa 2025, Hasset Dereje, the two queens of beauty and grace called on the world to discover the magic of Africas Leading National Park and top Big 5 safari destination.

On 28 June 2025, Tanzania was named Africas Leading Destination 2025 during the World Travel Awards Africa & Indian Ocean Gala Ceremony held in Dar es Salaam.

Serengeti National Park received two awards: Africas Leading National Park and Africas Leading Big 5 National Park.

This is the second time Ngorongoro has won this award, having also claimed the title in 2023.
