Dar es Salaam, March 29 -- COAST REGION: THE Minister for State, Office of the President, Regional Administration and Local Government (TAMISEMI), Mohamed Mchengerwa, has expressed his frustration with the drug shortage at Utete Hospital and has demanded that the Rufiji District Medical Officer, Hamis Abdallah, to address the issue promptly in order to ensure residents continue to receive quality healthcare.
Mchengerwa issued these instructions during a work visit to encourage accountability at Rufiji District Hospital in Utete.
He made it clear that he no longer wanted to hear about shortages of medicines in the hospital.
