MBEYA, July 23 -- THE Minister for Water, Jumaa Aweso, has ordered the water authority in Mbeya to ensure the construction of the water source in Rujewa area in Mbeya region is completed by September 2025.

He further directed the construction works to continue day and night to ensure a timely completion of the project.

Minister Aweso gave these instructions after inspecting the progress of the project, which is expected to increase water service coverage in Mbarali District from two days per week to 95 percent service availability in seven days a week.

This will help ensure that residents have access to water every day.
