TABORA, July 17 -- THE Minister for Water, Jumaa Aweso, has firmly directed that water must begin flowing to these communities by October 2025 under the nationwide 28 Towns Water Supply Project.

The government is investing 143bn/- in a transformative water supply project across Urambo, Kaliua, and Sikonge districts, aiming to serve more than 490,000 residents.

During his working tour in Urambo District to inspect ongoing works, Minister Aweso stressed the urgency of timely completion, calling on the contractors to adhere strictly to the schedule so citizens can start accessing clean and reliable water as planned.
