Dar es Salaam, April 23 -- DODOMA: DEPUTY Minister for Health, Dr Godwin Mollel yesterday avowed the governments commitment by highlighting the importance of building facilities for girls menstrual hygiene in line with school registration guidelines.
He also emphasized the need for careful production of sanitary materials in schools to protect students health.
Dr Mollel made the remarks here yesterday as he responded to concern from Amina Mzee (Special Seats CCM) who asked when will the issue of safe menstruation be prioritized through the provision of free sanitary pads in primary and secondary schools, along with the improvement of toilet infrastructure?
