Dar es Salaam, April 26 -- DODOMA: THE Juza Waste Pickers Initiative (JWPI), in collaboration with Global Waste Solutions Company, has submitted a proposal to the Dodoma City Councils management team to introduce a waste processing and recycling project in the capital.

The project is aimed at reducing the volume of waste being dumped at the Chidaya Landfill in Dodoma.

Presenting the proposal during a recent meeting in the city, JWPI Executive Director Nassib Kitabu stated that the organization is focused on environmental conservation and educating youth involved in waste collection.
