Dar es Salaam, Jan. 28 -- GEITA: THE Mama Samia Legal Aid Campaign (MSLAC) has resolved approximately 1,505 disputes out of 9,069 cases handled between March 2023 and January 26, this year.

The initiative has directly benefited over 779,191 citizens, including 389,000 women and 396,000 men.

Geita Regional Commissioner Martine Shigella, speaking on behalf of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Energy, Dr Dotto Biteko, highlighted these achievements during the campaigns launch in Geita Region over the weekend.

The campaign, aimed at expanding access to justice and offering legal aid to marginalised individuals, has so far reached 11 regions.
