DAR ES SALAAM, June 30 -- FLORIANA FC have confirmed the signing of Tanzanian international Charles MMombwa as the clubs seventh addition ahead of the 2025/26 Maltese Premier League campaign.

The 27-year-old central midfielder joins the Maltese giants from Australian side Newcastle Jets, where he featured for six months between January and June this year.

Despite the short stint, MMombwa left an impression in the A-League Men, adding to a career tally of over 90 top-flight appearances.

Internationally, MMombwa has represented Tanzania on nine occasions, including appearances in FIFA World Cup qualifiers and the Africa Cup of Nations.
