MAKETE, Jan. 10 -- MAKETE District Hospital in Njombe Region has increased its patient numbers from 11,485 in 2021 to 26,317 in 2025, representing a 43% rise.
This growth is largely attributed to infrastructure improvements and the purchase of medical equipment made by the Government at the hospital.
These details were provided today, January 8, 2025, by the Medical Officer-in-Charge of Makete District Hospital, Dr. Amanda Molel, during a briefing on the progress of various hospital projects to the Deputy Minister in the Prime Ministers Office responsible for Regional Administration and Local Government (TAMISEMI) in the health sector, Dr. Jafar Seif.
