Dar es Salaam, March 27 -- DAR ES SALAAM: THE Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, January Makamba, has urged retired ambassadors in the country to continue utilising their knowledge and experience gained during their service to help leaders in building the nation.

In his address on Monday at the annual meeting of the Tanzania Retired Ambassadors Association, Minister Makamba emphasised the invaluable role retired ambassadors can play in nationbuilding.

He urged retired envoys to share their wealth of knowledge with current leaders, emphasising the enduring importance of diplomacy even after retirement.
