SANYA JUU, Oct. 21 -- As Tanzania heads to the General Election on October 29, 2025, traditional Maasai leaders, known as Malaigwanan, are urging citizens to make their voices heard at the ballot box and speak against inciting politics.
Speaking at a regular Orkiama meeting in Donyomorwak, Siha District, Kilimanjaro Region, Mr. Jeremia Laizer, Secretary of Malaigwanan Tanzania, emphasized that voting is the most effective way for citizens to choose leaders who prioritize their welfare, community development, and national unity.
“Your vote matters. Every citizen has the power to influence who leads and how decisions are made in their community and country,” Mr. Laizer said.
