Tanzania, May 12 -- MEMBERS of the Parliament of the United Republic of Tanzania have called on the government to increase investment in science education, emphasizing that the move is essential to ensure the country produces enough experts to drive national economic development.

Contributing to the budget debate of the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology in Dodoma, the lawmakers highlighted that Tanzania still faces a significant shortage of professionals in the fields of science and technology. They stressed that greater investment in these areas is vital for the country to keep pace with global technological advancements.
