KILWA, Feb. 13 -- OVER 150 tourists from nine countries who are in the country, have toured the Kilwa Kisiwani ruins park on the island.

The tourists are from Canada, France, the UK, the USA, Switzerland, Spain, Australia, Belgium, and Seychelles.

The Tanzania Tourism Board, in collaboration with the Tanzania Wildlife Management Authority (TAWA) and private sector stakeholders participated in the reception of the cruise ship Le Bellot, which carried the tourists.

According to information from TTB, the tourists had the opportunity to visit the Kilwa Kisiwani ruins and experience the historical and cultural heritage of the people of Kilwa.
