Dar es Salaam, March 2 -- KILIMANJARO: THE Minister of Health Jenista Mhagama has announced that Kibongoto Infectious Disease Treatment Hospital in Siha District, Kilimanjaro Region, is set to be upgraded into an Infectious Disease Institute, alongside efforts to strengthen healthcare systems for the treatment of such diseases.

Minister Mhagama made these remarks during her visit to the hospital to inspect the implementation of various government-funded projects, including the establishment of a medical gas production unit and the procurement of modern medical waste incinerators.
