KIBAHA, Nov. 21 -- THE Bokomnemela Modern City construction project in Kibaha District, Coast Region, which is scheduled to begin in January 2026, is expected to provide a total of 150,000 employment opportunities for Tanzanian youth once completed, it has been learnt.
The project will be jointly implemented by the Kibaha District Council and the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) on 1,497 acres of land at Bokomnemela Ward, owned by NSSF, with Imperial Global Group (IGG) contracted to execute the work.
Speaking during a project presentation, IGG Chairman Mr Issack Peter said the development will include residential areas, industries, and various office buildings.
