COAST REGION, June 20 -- KIBAHA District Council in the Coast Region has significantly increased its internal revenue, growing from 3.8bn/- in 2020 to 14bn/- in 2024, enabling the implementation of major development projects.

The councils outgoing Chairman, Mr Mussa Ndomba, made the announcement during a special meeting to dissolve the council ahead of the upcoming General Election held at the council offices on Tuesday.

The meeting was attended by District Commissioner Mr Nickson Simon, District Executive Director (DED) Mr Rodgers Shemwelekwa, heads of departments and other government officials.
