Dar es Salaam, Feb. 11 -- MBEYA: KENGOLD secured a much needed 2-0 victory over Fountain Gate at Sokoine Stadium in Mbeya yesterday, ending a prolonged winless streak dating back to October last year.

Selemani Bwenzi opened the scoring in the 33rd minute, coolly converting a penalty to give Kengold the lead.

Despite Fountain Gates relentless efforts to find an equaliser, Kengolds defence held firm, frustrating their opponents throughout the match.

The decisive moment came in the 85th minute when Obrey Chirwa delivered a stunning goal. Rogers Freddy provided a perfectly placed cross, which Chirwa met with a powerful diving header, doubling the lead and sending Kengolds supporters into rapturous celebrations.
