Dar es Salaam, Feb. 12 -- KAGERA: THE Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) in the Kagera region has exceeded its revenue collection target for the July-December period, collecting 92.3bn/- which is an increase of 114 percent of the planned 80.9bn/-.

Presenting the report at the 14th Taxpayer Appreciation Day, held in the presence of Kagera Regional Commissioner Ms Fatma Mwassa, tax stakeholders, business owners, and residents, TRA Kagera Regional Manager Mr Castro John highlighted that for the 2024/2025 fiscal year, the region aims to collect 164bn with contribution from various business sources, investors, and customs stations.
