DAR ES SALAAM, Aug. 29 -- JUJU Kida has been awarded a 2.5m/-cash prize after winning the Bolt TZ Dance Challenge in a ceremony held in Dar es Salaam.
Juju Kida, whose birth name is Julius Bernard, emerged the winner of the contest thanks to his artistic skill and cultural creativity.
Previously, he won 300,000/- in a dance competition organized by a betting company, but this latest victory has earned him national recognition as one of Tanzanias rising dance stars.
Speaking at the award ceremony, Dimmy Kanyankole, the Bolts General Manager for Tanzania and Kenya, said the competition ran from July to August 25 and attracted hundreds of participants from across the country.
