Dar es Salaam, Feb. 1 -- DODOMA: DEPUTY Prime Minister and Minister for Energy, Dr Doto Biteko has informed Parliament that the Julius Nyerere Hydropower Project (JNHPP) is set for completion at the end of next month.

The Deputy Prime Minister shared the good news with Members of Parliament yesterday when he was contributing to a special resolution tabled by CCM Special Seats MP Asia Halamga meant to congratulate President Samia Suluhu Hassan for her exemplary leadership and for hosting the Energy Summit early this week.

According to the Deputy Prime Minister, eight turbines have already been handed over to the government and the last one will be handed over by the end of next month.
