Dar es Salaam, March 14 -- DAR ES SALAAM: JKT Tanzania advanced to the Federation Cup round of 16 after a convincing 3-0 win against Mbeya Kwanza at Major General Isamuhyo Stadium in Dar es Salaam yesterday.

From the outset JKT Tanzania dictated the pace of the match. In the 10th minute, a defensive blunder by Mbeya Kwanza allowed Salum Hamiss cross to be inadvertently directed into the net by defender Ibrahim Ngecha, giving JKT an early lead. Just three minutes later, JKT doubled their advantage when Edward Songo capitalised on a poor back pass, racing in to score.
