ARUSHA, Aug. 25 -- THE Jakaya Kikwete Cardiac Institute (JKCI) has won the first-place award in improving healthcare delivery as a sign of its success in improving cardiac care services in the country.
The award was presented by the Tanzanian Vice President, Dr Philip Mpango, at a working session of the Chairmen of the Boards and Chief Executives of Public Institutions held at the Arusha International Conference Centre (AICC) in Arusha.
Speaking while presenting the award, Mpango commended the Jakaya Kikwete Heart Institute (JKCI) for the cardiac care services it provides to patients.
