DODOMA, July 17 -- THE former Tanzanian President, Dr. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, has commended President Samia Suluhu Hassans guidance in the preparation of the Tanzania Development Vision 2050 in an inclusive and participatory manner that reflects the aspirations of Tanzanians.

Speaking today, July 17, 2025, in Dodoma during the official launch of the Vision, Dr. Kikwete stated that the government has demonstrated a genuine commitment by involving various segments of society, including retired leaders, as key stakeholders in providing input and contributions to the drafting of this important national document.
