Dar es Salaam, Jan. 30 -- DAR ES SALAAM: THE Ismaili community in Tanzania has unveiled the Fanoos (Lantern), a glowing symbol of light, hope and unity, reaffirming its commitment to fostering peace and togetherness both within the community and across the nation.
The launch ceremony took place at the communitys historic house in Upanga, Dar es Salaam, gathering community members, leaders and youth in an event aligned with the renowned Global Encounters initiative.
The Fanoos, which has traveled through various countries worldwide, represents the spirit of solidarity that is deeply rooted in the Ismaili community. Its light shines as a beacon of hope and unity, not only for Ismailis but also for the broader global community.
